At Sarnath, Buddha preached his first sermon and from that time

is the place where pilgrimage and adventure meets. No wonder it

The glacier is the source of the four big sub-continental river
Indus, Brahmaputra, Sutlej and Kanonali. It is popularly believed
that all the sins committed by man will be cleaned after the arduous
journey is completed. The beautiful southern route, will take you
over the picturesque Tibetan pastures with people rearing heard
of sheep and yaks roaming freely. From Kathmandu you will have to
travel for 32 km to Mount Kailash at an average altitude of 18000

Hemkund
